The latest seasonal allocations for July 2024 have been announced by the Storage Manager. This is the first allocation announcement of the 2024-25 year.

Inflow to reservoirs during June was approximately 52% of average. Persistent dry catchment conditions have significantly limited early inflow to storages. With very limited resource improvements realised over previous months, opening allocation to entitlement holders is low.

Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product entitlements have opened the year with a 3% allocation. No allocation has been possible yet to the following: the Glenelg River Compensation Flow, Recreation, Wetlands and Commonwealth Environmental entitlements. In addition, a total of 3.4 GL has been allocated to the system reserve for the next water year.
