Opening Allocations for July 2018 (2018-19 water year) have been announced by the Storage Manager.
Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product received a 9% allocation, with no allocation able to be made to Glenelg Compensation Flow, Recreation entitlement, Wetland entitlement or Commonwealth environmental entitlement. Opening allocations are reflective of inflows to reservoirs during June having been below average.
The Storage Manager has also declared a Low Risk of Spill for the Wimmera-Glenelg system during the 2018-19 water year.

The June 2018 Assessment has been announced by the Storage Manager. The Grampians headworks system has received 310 ML of inflow. Rainfall has exceeded evaporation for the month of May. Due to conservative estimates of the losses forecast for May compared to what actually occurred, the System Reserve has increased by approximately 4,080 ML and is now 43,856 ML. The System Reserve must reach 45,000 ML before further allocation can be made to entitlements this season.

The Storage Manager has released its fourth quarterly operating plan supplement for April to June 2018. This is the last supplement for the 2017-18 season, and accompanies the Annual Operating Plan.
